Our Professional Hunter Team

All of our professional hunters are very experienced hunters and are dedicated to ethical hunting, safety of clients, harvesting the right trophies, and creating the most enjoyable safari experience possible for our clients.

Peter Fisher

Peter has an unwavering commitment to African wildlife and the peoples of Zambia. As a fourth generation Zambian, Peter has been hunting all over Zambia for over 50 years and has made it one of his life's legacies to create a flourishing wildlife reserve in his home area. Peter is also known as Chief Nyamwana, sub Chief of the Lunda people of Ikeleng’i District, North Western Province- Zambia. Alongside his family, Peter runs the Hillwood Orphanage and oversees and assist with the Kalene Mission Hospital and Nursing Home. He has dedicated his life to preserving Zambia's rich wildlife and uplifting impoverished Zambians across the country.

Chris Fisher

Chris is an avid and experienced PH with a driven passion for wildlife and its preservation. Chris has over 17 years as a professional hunter in Zambia. A good code of ethics for hunting is extremely important to Chris. Chris is also a helicopter pilot and studied Business, Entrepreneurship and Environmental Studies.

Nick Wightman

Nick is a native Zambian and was raised out in the African bush, hunting since he was a young boy and has been a PH for over 15 years. Nick has an uncanny knowledge of the fauna and flora which makes him an excellent hunter. Nick has an immense passion for wildlife and is dedicated to conservation and ethical hunting.

Epic Safaris was founded by a team of business entrepreneurs and avid conservationists and hunters based in the United States and Zambia.

Our team of owners and professional hunters are all devoted family men, community leaders, passionate conservationists, and charitable donors to the things we care significantly about. Outside of taking care of our clients' desires, Epic Safaris' primary purpose is to benefit the wildlife and local communities in the areas we hunt.

Epic Safaris has become the exclusive agent to market hunting packages for its concession partners, namely Nedzo Safaris and Kavango Safaris, and will be intimately involved in oversight of the entire client experience.
